Privacy Policy

Storification (storification.net) is run by Cubic Films Pty Ltd (ABN 49 621 439 281), 97 Henrietta Street, Waverley NSW 2024, Australia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: your name and email address when you join the waitlist, request the Story Engine report, buy something or book a session.
• Your Story Engine answers: the business details and story notes you type in, so we can generate and email your report.
• Order details: what you bought, the price and currency, and, for print orders, your shipping name, address and phone number.
• Booking details: for calls and strategy sessions, your business name, website and anything you tell us about what you'd like to work on.
• How you found us: we record campaign and referral information about how visitors arrived, to understand which marketing works. We also record the page you landed on and your approximate country, which we use to show the right currency.
• Email activity: whether our emails are delivered, opened or clicked, and whether you've unsubscribed.

We never see or store your full card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.

How we use it

• To deliver what you asked for: your report, your ebook or audiobook, your print copy, your course access or your session.
• To send launch and follow-up emails about Storification, if you've agreed to them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and buyers stop receiving sales emails for what they've already bought.
• To run the first-50-buyers story review offer and keep count.
• To understand which channels bring people to the site.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the site, only for the purposes above:

• Stripe: payment processing
• Lulu: printing and shipping print orders (your name, address and phone number)
• Resend: sending email
• HubSpot: our customer records
• Replit and Cloudflare: website hosting and security
• OpenAI: generating Story Engine reports from your answers
• Google: booking calendar for calls and sessions, website analytics

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping checkout secure. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. Visitors in the UK and EU are asked for consent before analytics cookies are set. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Keeping your information safe

We store information with reputable providers using encryption and access controls, and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, financial records for tax purposes).

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
• Ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
• If you have a privacy concern or complaint, email us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
